This intriguing and updated Spanish Colonial Revival was inspired by the estates of Southern Spain. Hallmarks of the Andalusia style include romantic courtyard living spaces, thick white-washed exterior walls, and ornamental iron gates and window grilles. The 8,356 sf, 6 bedroom villa underwent an expansion in 2010.

The main focal point of the home is the grand scale family room accented by a towering beamed ceiling. The open concept rooms opens to a 28 ft chef’s kitchen. An attached breakfast room with raised fireplace and its own walled-in intimate patio with tiered fountain and fireplace, perfect for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

The home features hand-scraped hickory flooring, towering beamed ceilings, 8 interior fireplaces and other rich, warm finishes. There are a formal living and dining room, an ensuite library/office with Saltillo tile that can become a 7th bedroom, and a large entertainment/game room filled with natural light.

A split master suite features a sitting room, romantic master bathroom with a fireplace, impressive walk-in closet and access to a private patio. All auxiliary bedrooms are ensuite with walk-in closets. The attached 2 bedroom guest wing enjoys a second family room with wet bar.

The backyard features a largely covered patio w/built-in BBQ, a heated negative edge pool which spills over into a hidden trough and recirculates. Beyond the pool, wall is a seating area with fire pit flanked by fire pots and tall columns, as well as a large grass yard. There is also an outdoor space to play basketball.

The house also features a gated motor court with two opposite four-car garages. Each garage has direct entry into the residence.
